A Short Note On Energy Drink And India Essay - 2726 Words

V energy drink was first launched in New Zealand in August 1977, it was first expected that the product would produce and sell domestically (within NZ). It was such a massive hit in NZ, it soon took over 60% of the overall drinks market in NZ in 2003 and over 53% in Australia, making it the most popular drink in both countries. V energy drink is currently being sold in 18 different countries including Spain, Australia, Argentina, and the UK. India is not currently selling V Energy drink. We have chosen to send this product to India because it has grown very popular in a short time, within NZ and Australia, and it has all the ingredients that would suit the Indian taste. The energy drinks market in India is at a nascent stage and it has huge potential for growth. There is more than one reason why I am taking this product to India and I will explain below. ïÆ'Ëœ cultural / social environment: Increased urbanisation, rising disposable income and growing health consciousness among the Indian youth has increased the demand for non-carbonated drinks called energy drinks. At the same time long and erratic working hours and the increasing occurrence of social gatherings are driving Indian consumers towards consumption of energy drinks which are primarily classified as non-alcoholic, caffeinated beverages and sports drinks.
